Split PDF guide

Create separate documents from a PDF or extract only the pages you need into one file. Your original remains unchanged.

Step by step

  1. 01

    Open a PDF

Select one PDF and note its page count.

  2. 02

    Choose a split mode

Use every page, page ranges, or extraction. Enter ranges such as 1-3, 4-6, or extraction pages such as 1, 3, 5.

  3. 03

    Download the output

Run the split action. Every-page and range modes start multiple PDF downloads; extraction produces one document.

Settings

Every page
Each source page becomes its own PDF.
Ranges
Each comma-separated range creates a separate file. Use ascending ranges within the document’s page count.
Extract pages
Listed page numbers are copied into one PDF in the order you enter them.

Help and limitations

Why did only one file download?

Your browser may block multiple downloads. Allow downloads for this site or use extraction if you need one output.

How do I keep pages 1 through 3 together?

Use range mode with 1-3. In extraction mode, enter 1, 2, 3 instead of a hyphenated range.

Before you use the output

Check the entered numbers carefully. Out-of-range entries are not copied; this tool does not automatically correct an intended page selection.
