Watermark PDF guide

Add a visible text label such as CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT. A watermark is not encryption or copy protection.

Step by step

  1. 01

Open a PDF and enter text

Select one PDF and type the watermark you want to add.

  2. 02

    Choose its appearance

Select center, diagonal or a corner position. Adjust font size and opacity without obscuring important content.

  3. 03

    Download and review

Run the watermark action. Inspect every page in the downloaded copy, especially pages with different dimensions.

Settings

Position
Choose center, diagonal, top-left, top-right, bottom-left or bottom-right. The watermark is applied to every page.
Size and opacity
Font size spans 12–120 points and opacity spans 5–100%. Lower opacity makes the text less prominent.

Help and limitations

Can I add a logo?

The current working watermark feature is text only; it does not add an image or logo.

Can I choose a custom angle?

The diagonal preset uses a fixed angle. There is no separate angle control.

Before you use the output

Long text or large lettering can extend beyond page edges, especially at corner positions. Check the export; a watermark does not prevent copying.
